Jardiance and insulin

rarossiter

Newbie
My nurse has prescribed me Jardiance alongside my fast acting and long acting insulins (Fiasp and Triseba). She has given me very little information aside from continuing insulin as normal and it shouldn’t cause hypos.

Having read the leaflet I’m a bit worried about starting it. does anyone else use these medications together?

Bit of background: Diagnosed with LADA 4 years ago, control isn’t great as I’m still waiting on my carb counting course and still learning about exercising and insulin.

Thanks, Rachel

Sorry to be the hater on jardiance but I was prescribed it and it caused severe pancreatitis and now the damage done means my pancreas has packed up completely, please beware of pancreatic symptoms and contact your Dr if you do experience any x
