Juggluco app no longer available?

I've been using the Juggluco app with Libre 2 for about a week, no real problems.

Had a minor issue with alarm settings so stupidly thought I'd uninstall then reinstall it.

Unfortunately, it's been removed from the Google Playstore (thanks Abbott!). Any ideas for any other similar apps? Needs to be fairly simple to install if poss, not very techy.

TIA

Firstly it's nothing o do with Abbott AFAIK.

Last time this happened it was because the AI that Google use to check a new uploaded (by the developer) version of the app is following all the correct rules was flagging up something it didn't like. It took the developer a few days to figure out what was upsetting it and correct it where upon it popped up again.

If you're not squeamish you can side load it from his web site. Address somewhere in the docs.

Edit: It seems as though the big boys at Abbott have suggested in a legal missive from their lawyers, to Google that there is a copyright infringement. I can't see Jaap being in a position to defend that allegation. Heaven knows where we go from here.

Same thing happened for the Juggluco Wear OS apk.
I am not allowed to add links at present, but the apk's are indeed available on the creators website.

My problem is i had to reset my watch 4 and the only way to add Juggluco is via Google store on my phone. As no longer on the Hoogle store, has anyone any idea how to add it to a watch without Google store. I am gutted as Abbot apps has become a pain since last November. It takes me sometimes 15 time to get a reading. Juggluco was perfect, reading anytime without having to scan the sensor.. much more efficient that abbot apps!!

I use easy fire tools from Google store to sideload the wear os version. It's a little more demanding than the playstore way. But childs play after the 1st time

I agree with your comments about Juggluco totally.

As for the watch, have you checked his site for instructions? We get app updates direct from him, so I suspect the latest watch apps come that way too. I don't have a watch so haven't needed to check it out.

To sideload get Easy Fire Tools on the Play Store. I couldn't get the Wear Installer to connect. Easy went right through the install to my G-Watch 4.
