Good morning @ZinadaneNot sure, but maybe abbott still have massive stock of L2 to get through.
L3 rollout Oct 2022 apparently.
According to Abbot's website, the L3 is not available for private subscription in the UK at present.Sounds about right for L2. £100/month if self funding.
Just Googling and can't see any outlets even offering L3 atm?
I am not suggesting it will become freely available (I have no hard facts)Good morning @Zinadane
Are you suggesting that the Freestyle Libre 3 will become freely available in the UK to buy from Abbott online and also for GPs to prescribe the Libre 3 from October 2023?
If the answer is yes, please could you say how you know this?
I've seen nothing online or anything official from anyone in NHS England to suggest this.
I am thinking about doing this. I have juggluco on my phone, working and a watch coming in the post. With the wearOS version installed on the watch, and with alarms set on juggluco only (librelink alarms off) how are alarms silenced? From the watch ? Or must this be done from the phone? The last 6 months I've been using Juggluco now. No problems like Librelink users. Just keeps getting better with loads of updates. Even my Diabetes Nurse mentioned it. At my 6 month review. Driving with Waze/G Maps. You can have a floating glucose reading constantly on screen. Constantly changing when you do. I believe the chap behind this great app is diabetic too.
Thanks Barrym. If an alarm goes off whilst driving I want to be able view the alarm and silence/clear it on the watch preferably, without having to faff about with the phone. Once the watch turns up I'll try the various options and see which works bestThere are settings for how long to play the sound file, and when to repeat it is it remains out of range. I used the standard LL unimaginative sounds, but only played them for about 5 seconds, the repeated after 20 mins IIRC. I didn't try it, but on LL you can silence it part way thru by dwiping the notification off the screen, so Juggluco may well do the same.
I've no beef with the L2, myself.I am on L3. Great device!
Small, slim, reliable & accurate in my opinion.
But I don't use the software, it will never be as good as the 3rd party offerings.
Sorry only just seen this. I have watch 5. I have it on vibration only. If you are using the phone as a sat nav u can have a floating glucose reading onscreen. Also talk speaks out your value if connected to car audio.I am thinking about doing this. I have juggluco on my phone, working and a watch coming in the post. This forum won't let me post the link. Search for juggluco.nl/Juggluco/download.htmlHi.
Can someone please point me in the direction of a juggluco app download for an android phone.
Thanks.
It's because you're new I believeThis forum won't let me post the ink. Search for juggluco.nl/Juggluco/download.html
What app do you use to have the floating value? I used to use Easy Fire Tools. But it wouldn't connect to the watch the other day. So now use Bugjaeger. Thanks for the responses. I now have my Galaxy6 watch and it is all working as I had hoped. My wish was to be able to silence the watch alarm easily on the watch without messing about with the phone, mainly in case the alarm goes off while driving. I have Juggluco on my phone and the Juggluco wear version on the watch. Juggluco already does this well. I have set up the 2 watch faces as attached, the digital watch face is the Juggluco watch face while the analogue watch has a floating glucose value (appears on every screen, and is moveable) . In either case touching the glucose value on the screen silences the alarm. Excellent, and updates every minute too!
In the menu's read the help pieces for set up. There are many and make it so easyMany thanks.
