What a lovely post shzz, and something positive came out of it. I hope he is feeling well with the changes that he is making :thumbup:

Thank you for your replies regarding the down sizing, I will try later.

Best wishes RRB

Good afternoon, hope you are having a good day.

This morning, when I woke up I expected to see 3 cats. But no, only one. One of the cats, Pebbles was outside the kitchen window, puzzled I let her in. I went into the lounge and it was cold, because I went and left the window wide open :shock: I couldn't believe it as I am so aware of security and always check the doors I wont even have a bedroom window open during the night) so I sighed with relief and was very very fortunate indeed :oops:

Today I had to buy yet another pair of sunglasses as I am always losing them, I think I have lost about 4 pairs so far :roll: I have to wear sunglasses in bright light as I have difficulty seeing anything.

When I got home early afternoon, in the post, there was a postcard from my daughters school's Maths department. can I say I am so proud of her, it reads:-

Just a quick note to let you know that;

*** ****** *******
has worked extremely hard this term and this hard work deserves to be recognised by the department. We are extremely pleased with the progress made and hope that this continues in the future.

* ************* teachers signature

I can't wait to show her, she does find Maths a little difficult, but I AM SO PROUD OF MY DAUGHTER :D :D she has worked hard and her achievements have now shone through :thumbup: she is going to be over the moon, yay.

from a very happy and proud RRB :D

Lots of congratulations to you and your daughter rrb it is great news......kx

Thanks, her face was a picture when she saw the postcard and she was so happy.

As the weekend is going to be lovely, I said to my daughter would she like to go to the beach on Saturday and bring a school friend with her, that was a big YES, so we are getting the train to Bournemouth. I will take a book with me and I love to wander up and down the beach and watch the ships and small boats :D I might even treat myself to a small scoop of icream in a small bowl, 8)

Hi Shzz, Enjoy your day off, relax and take it easy. I went to my daughter's school monitor day today and her tutor said there is nothing negative to say about *** she is doing very well and he wishes all his students were like her :D she is on course for good results next year, so to continue working hard and looking at her year's results, she should do well. We were so pleased and I'm so proud of her and I know her dad would of been too. I then went shopping, bought my daughter a bottle of Shloer , she loves this grape drink and then after I have done some ironing we are having a wander down to a park with a boating lake, the park area has a lovely walk, with a small tea/eating place. Off to the seaside tomorrow on train with her school friend, so busy, busy, busy, but I like to keep active( well most of the time :D) Going to have some lunch and then the lovely ironing :roll: :lol:

Take care and don't forget to slip, slap, slop in the sunshine RRB x

Rrb have a great time by the sea......and enjoy that ice cream you and your daughter deserve a gt time....
I will be sitting in my garden with a new book great.....
Feeding a lovely old cat that visits everyday....will only eat chicken which we buy for kitty.....turns nose up at cat food lol 13 years this has been going on....no idea where kitty lives never wants to stay with us though has the same pathway out of the garden........would be missed if the visits didn't happen kx

The man I am working for at the moment has been very ill for a long while, he has been in hospital twice this year with pneumonia. He was recently put on water reduction tablets and has lost 1 stone in three days. I believe that 1 gallon of liquid weighs 10 pounds which means he has lost nearly 1 1/2 gallons of water! He certainly looked a lot better today. On Monday he took his art class as per usual as he didn't want to let people down. A great bloke with a great wife. I am very lucky to know them. I have now decorated every room bar one in their bungalow! Not all in one go, over the past few years. Their ***** cat has managed to leave paw prints in some of my handywork. We all agree it's a great improvement!

Kat your adopted. Kitty sounds lovely and very well looked after with all that tasty chicken.
Irw you sound like you are a carer that's what I o.. its sounds like an idea partnership.. I'm exausted but off out again to drop my daughter off at her friends because Friday is a church youth club night.
Best wishes RRB

What a kind thing to do as well as the paint paws pattern that's great lol.....irw60 have a really nice weekend x

July has been great so far, Editors have released a fabulous record, amazon have converted my hundreds of cd purchases into mp3 format, tennis on the telly. Such good fun I had to spend far too much buying my staff strawberries and cream today... Happy Friday!

Hi shzz Your house must be gleaming now, I do exactly the same thing though. But next time do something nice for your self,something you really like to do, or something you have always wanted to do but never got there!

Hope you are enjoying the weather, even though it is too hot at night, phew.

Take care RRB :)

I know the feeling - all I ever seem to do at home is clean! I even go to friends' houses and just clean for them. Cleaned my friend's kitchen for him on Thursday and then cleaned another friend's car for him on Saturday :lol: my OCD is getting the better of me.

Hi rrb and giverny I wish my house was gleaming but my youngest who's 22 is more like a 3 year old you have to follow him around clearing up after him I know what you mean about this weather especially at nights I'm going through the menopause and most of my hot flushes are nighttime ones joys of being a woman eh
