Can you give us an example please? I don't recall ever getting something from the likes of Tesco without nutritional info. Loose items (no packing), such as butternut squash are even allocated nutritional information from their website - have you had a look there?Has anyone else noticed that root vegetables and fruit prepacked from supermarkets does not seem to have either the traffic light system or nutritional values on the packaging. If this is the case how are people with any type of diabetes able to know what their carbs, sugar and fat content is.
Also, can anyone start a campaign to get this important information put onto the packaging.
Just a question/ comment.
Hello, just been down to Tesco and the oranges prepacked, green seedless grapes, strawberries prepacked etc, do not seem to have nutritional data on them, unless it's me picking the un labelled ones up. I also do not normally pick single items of fruit or vegetables. Can you give us an example please? I don't recall ever getting something from the likes of Tesco without nutritional info. If that is the case, then I'd weigh your fruit and use the internet/carbs & calls, etc to get your CHO value.Hello, just been down to Tesco and the oranges prepacked, green seedless grapes, strawberries prepacked etc, do not seem to have nutritional data on them, unless it's me picking the un labelled ones up.
