Dislikes
Bullies, Liars, Trolls and dishonest cruel people
Sitting there, invisible
They just Walk on by
I'm barely thinking straight,
SO so cold
Need a hot drink
Its just another day In paradise

Somebody notice, please notice me.
I dont want to be here
Can you spare a £1, even 50p,please?
Can't play music or keep in tune with a song
Its just another day in Paradise

No laces in my shoes
I used to have nice shoes
I used to have a job
My wife, my kids, a house
Warmth, love money, gone
Its just another day in Paradise

A hot drink and a fag
Just to keep me going
Oh God help me, I'm so hungry
A Macdonalds, Burger King, just a dream
Its just another day in Paradise

Living on the streets, you're a nothing
No one sees YOU, you're just a down and out
I know what people think of me,
but if I could tell my story
Honestly,I'm not that disgusting
It's just another day in Paradise

Night again, got to watch my back
Freezing, freezing cold, so alone
The drunken name callers
I don't want to be this way
I just want a chance, I'm so tired of being tired
This is just another day in Paradise.

My thoughts on the homeless, maybe we could all spare a thought for people who are less fortunate than ourselves, whatever their circumstances.

With best wishes RRB

Nice One RRB !

Poignant stuff, seasonally perfect.

Never been there myself but seen many over the years, always shed a shilling or two to help.

I used to give a bloke 2 shillings for ' a cup of tea Guv ' on the enbankment opposite the Savoy to 'look after yer car Gov ' in the 70's, in the 80's it became £2 + ! god knows what the going rate is now !

BUT you are quite right, we MUST think of the unfortunates among us, not just at xmas but constantly !

Be Happy........Supecrhip

Sounds very Phil Collins-inspired!

Look, I once gave a poor unfortunate some money when asked. After all I am a caring warm sort of person :D .

I later saw him again in the local pub spending all that money, not on a " cup of tea guv "!

So I tend not to give now, at least not directly, my giving is via a charity that helps look out for them.
