Just another kink?

Just wondering about kinked canulla's, how fast would your sugars rise if it did kink roughly?
is it scary i've never had one =.=
 
It's pretty much the same as duff infusion set, your BG would start to rise steadily, you can spot it quite easily as you know your body's reaction to insulin and when something doesn't feel right so a new set change as quickly as possible, i've had a couple of bad infusion set changes, noticed them within 3-6 hours, once i'd ruled out other possibilities I did a change and then took a further 2-3 hours to come right again. Not very scary, just a learning curve ;)

my sugars are 14 atm so did correction, and hoping it comes down shortly if not then ill do a canulla and set change :[
 
rechecked and it is now 17 :( so i dida canulla change and hope it brings it down will keep an eye every hour now ==
 
It will happen, don't worry it's a learning curve, just drink lots and keep testing, think of it as a minor irritation, you've done the set change so hope you're sorted soon ;)

haha comming back down now 14.5 i only changed it quickly because i saw it starting to rise let's hope this ones working now =.= and it's not all the insulin from be4 :[
 
well its 5.5 atm. with 1 unit iob, so i guess it's okay im assuimng the canulla now is working, as the other one 20mins and it was 17 so i'm all good now little pnicked but fine now =.= thanks @Snapsy
 
I've not had this happen to me yet but I suppose it's only a matter of time! :-/
