hi Gareth
Was the fasting blood test you had yesterday for suspected Diabetes ?
Hypoglacemia as you know is low blood sugar, which will result in ,sweaty ,shaky, hungry, dizzy feelings to name just a few. A non Diabetic may regularly get these feelings even not on insulin or meds. I used to get these for years before I actually had Diabetes.
hyperglycaemia as you know is high blood sugar, and will make you feel ,lethargic, though at first a bit"hyper" ,sick, sometimes VERY hungry, just down right ill
I think anyone that was not Diabetic if they drank that much Lucozade and ate that much chocolate would have fluctuations of Blood sugars which were quiet big ....but within the normal ranges. And also would feel pretty rough..try and cut back on these things ,not good for anyone Diabetic or not.
I have a friend who is Hypoglacemic ,but not Diabetic, she has to eat little and often , small healthy grazing type meals....you could try this and see if cutting out the sugar overload helps to stabalise your Blood sugars while you wait for your test results.
good luck
