As the title says, my husband and I have just found out that we are pregnant. Very early stages - about four weeks. We are both over the moon as we have been trying for some time. I have to be honest, though, I'm a little scared. Good scared, but scared all the same! :) I will be calling my doctor tomorrow to get an appointment as soon as possible. My diabetes care is provided through my GP so I'll make sure the appointment covers both. Feeling pretty normal at the minute, and blood sugars are sticking around the 5-7 mark. My last hba1c was 53, which I was a little disappointed with. At he time, I was having more highs and lows than usual. Doing injections manually as opposed to being on the pump. Guess I am after some advice, really. Any help would be much appreciated! How did diabetes affect your diabetes? Did you have extra appointments/scans? Did you decided to go on the pump once you found out you were expecting? Em
