A few months after being diagnosed a new real ale bar opens in town, I'm sure a visit every now and then won't hurt! :)

Real Ale? Nice one!! Me too! I go to 2 beer festivals a year when possible and now since I moderate my intake-it tastes even better than ever! (I still drink in between real Ale blowouts but my tipple is now single malt whisky or vodka and sugar free mixer) 8)

Hi, good news about the real ale pub! i drank 2 pints of beer yesterday after watching a football match. i work in the brewing industry so feel i still have to do my bit!

Yeah I now try to stick to vodka or Jim beam as they dont effect my sugars much just have to make sure I eat plenty the day after to stop the low sugars. Its a brewdog bar if anyone of you have heard of the brewery, the beers are full of flavour and some are rocket fuel going up to 41%!!

Ah...Brewdog..I've heard of them and I believe I've tried one of their strong ales..Punk IPA if I remember right, quite a kick to it as well!

But..What I would REALLY love to see is 'Robinsons Old Tom' on draught and served at the same percentage as in the bottle form, absolutely love it! along with 'Innis and Gunns' rum finish cask ale and 'Adnams Broadside',served on draught the same as in a bottle!
