Just Noticed

weight watchers is a repeat business.. they aren't designed to help... just make profitsi
I have never liked the idea of WW I thought it might feel condescending like from Little Britain's fat fighters club. I find it hard to follow someone else advice regarding my health if I can find a way around the dilemma my way. In fact that applies to most of my life dilemmas - I go it alone until I can no more!

But end of the story 'No man/woman is an i
'iland'. Men have b een conditioned to be strong even sometimes when they don't feel st rong. Women ave been conditioned to be kind even though sometimes they dont feel kind.

I've got this friend now who does not let her husband do
anything(pensioners)Honestly I don't think he could even boil water. What is going to happen when she
goes first. Well he will just feel helpless.

Killing him with kindness really.Well going to go out tonight (Ya hoo)Going to celebrate my 73 and a half birthday.Just in case I dont reach my 74th.(only joking)

73 and half years young - age is a number and immaterial I should know!

And enven when I go out to celebrate my 74th. (God willing)because I am deaf. I will just just notice the 'body language
Done it for a long time now.

Funny enough I’ve gone to weight watchers on and off for years. About 30 years ago the plan then was 2 portions carbs(their definition) 4 proteins 2 fats and I can’t remember what else, but looking back it might well have been low carb by today’s standards. I hadn’t been diagnosed diabetic at that point although did have gestational diabetes in my first pregnancy. The weight fell off me and got to goal in weeks, a little like low carb behaved at start this time although with restricted fats so was starving. There is no way I could have sustained it for any length of time and thank god didn’t need to lose as much as now. It seems like they didn’t really understand why it worked so in some respects we’ve come a long way. Roll on everyone’s next birthday! Gin?

My sister in law lost a ton of weight on weight watchers but she piled it all and some, back on within 18 months. It just wouldn't have worked for me. but I can see how it does for others. Reminiscent of the other half buying patches etc for stopping smoking... never touched them till they were out of date and then I decided I was going to give up and did! Oh and yes Gin would be lovely thank you ;)

Thank you Laine 71
I think in the end 'it is the lessons learned.'.
Another friend now telling me. you are deaf. Maybe you just don't listen. Would they give hearing aids to people who don't listen. And her late husband was dia betic. What did she do. Don't do this, don't do that. Don't eat the biscs. Just don't do it. Well he rebelled in the end and just went out for a pint.

And then another pint. He just could not stand the nagging in the end.Maybe she thoughh she could help him.
In her own way maybe. But it was up to him in the end(in his own time).

So let us do eerything in our own time in the end. That's the only way we will learn(the life lessons)just by ourselves really in the end

If only some people could implement the same mindset, life would somehow be a little easier - I think.

It would be a lot easier I th ink. But people just like to judge and interfere don't they. And in their own way they think they are helping.
