So in September I am going to be 60. For the last 40 years I've drunk coffee in various forms, the last 20 years black from beans. Usually 2 to 3 cups a day...
Then last week it was 2 cups and by wednesday it was just one... then on Friday none... and not had one since...
Just didn't enjoy it like I used to do.
Which is odd. I've never dropped anything so suddenly.
In place: 10g 90% chocolate 90 g full milk, microwave 90 secs. Done.

How odd @hankjam I'm finding it the other way round. Because of giving up sugar in tea (and voluntarily abandoning sweeteners) I've haven't enjoyed a cuppa since Feb 2016. I've always liked coffee, and treat myself to a nespresso pod thingy in between a decent instant, 2-3 times a day. Having cream instead of milk and sugar is quite acceptable nowadays.

(But I'd go back to sugar in a heartbeat!!)

It is just swapping one form of addictive caffeine for another, so your body hasn't noticed, therefore no withdrawal symptoms or cravings.

Hi Hankjam, please get your liver checked out via blood tests, as might signify an issue, especially if you suddenly go off other food too

When I started a medication once I just lost interest in coffee ,before that I drank 4-5 cups a day

I've gone off tea as no matter what sweetener I try it just tastes vile - coffee is no problem though . Most odd ! Hope you find a suitable alternative

hi @cooki Thank you for the note. I would be interested to know why you should think this should be necessary. I will be having my annual bloods fairly soon....
