just took first metformin 500mg

Good luck, I take it, a few trouble problems with the tummy at times, but only sometimes, I like it, would not be without it, it has helped me a lot...

How has it helped Kat100 or others. I need convincing to take it. Did it help you lose weight?
 
For me I have lost 3 stones in one year, couldn't loose before I tried every diet there was,,,,,
Knew I had gained weight, could not understand why.....now I do and my body weight is nearly back to norm, but my health is not and I was unwell for 10 years before the diabetic problem was discovered.....

Yes the med have helped me....
I eat smaller portions
I exercise and I have lost weight
My hba1c was 18.6 one year ago, now it is 6.1 I am delighted with that :)
