- the confusion about what and what not to eat, provided by others who know it all!
I'm Type 1, have been for 18m now, I usually have about 150g carbs per day, and My Hba1c was 7 last check. I am struggling with overnight/morning highs ( 9 -10's) and would like to try some low carbing to see if it helps. I Know it must help as I've read all your posts and it all seems amazing.
BUT, how do you eat low carb stuff all the time???? I Love Muesli for breakfast and bolus 5u for that, I just can't bring myself to have eggs or anything else for breakfast, lunches, I'm ok, I usually have ham, or cheese, egg salads anyway, with fruit and yogurt. I can't give up yogurt
It's the late dinner I struggle with, I mostly end up with cheese or egg on toast, or sometimes if I fancy a small piece of pizza. I love chicken too, and have that several times a week,. I just need a little advice as to how to cut down. I am not overweight, but I wouldn't mind loosing a little more here and there, and I'm sure if I try hard enough I can get my Hba1c down more.
Just need a little advice and encouragement. :?
