A friend introduced me to this and gave me a bag of the stuff.

Is anyone familiar with it, especially in terms of its suitability (or otherwise) for t2s?

I think this is what they call Spelt coffee in which case the nutritional info is :

Crikey!

That's more carbs than I imagined in a cup?

lol

Does it fare badly in comparison with regular coffee and tea?

I'd be interested to know about carbs in regular coffee too - in my carb counting I count zero for my coffee with sweetners and cream
2 minutes later: I have just looked up coffee in my carb counter - coffee (black) contains 0.3g carbs per 100g. Nescafé Instant contains 10g carb per 100g only so its negligible in a cups worth. Tea - well it depends on how much milk you put in. Virtually none otherwise.

That amount is for one cup of kernels but you would only use three heaped tablespoons of the kernels to make a cup AFAIK.

Yey!

It's back on the menu. Think I'll have a cup now!
