I don’t know what type of diabetes I have, I had a person at a hospital charge my type 1 diagnosis to type 2 the moment I mentioned the Freestyle Libre 2 without a blood test to confirm it. I had my doctors change my diabetic hospital to a different one and my new diabetic specialist has put me on the Freestyle Libre 2 but because my diagnosis has been messed up the old hospital my doctors is doing everything they can not to give me the Libre regardless that I’m on insulin and I injected multiple times every day. I have been self funding the Libre my self since 2018 I don’t have much hypoglycaemia awareness. I have talked to the CCG where I live and they said I should it as well as NICE. I have also email the doctors with links to what website say but as I said they just keep messing me around. I don’t know who to complain to as where with PALs they never get back to you and NHS England are useless too.
What can I do?
One thing my doctors kept saying to me was unless it’s started by a Diabetic specialist which it now has been done they can’t give it to me.
Are all doctors now just total liars ??
