Is there such a thing as a check list of daily carbs - perhaps one I could print out off the internet? There are some things like the slice of Bergan bread I have for breakfast, and the quarter pint milk I allow myself, that are regular daily things I could write in for a start, along with the extras like a tomato with the salad in a lunchbox. I'm trying to keep to about 40gms a day - is this sensible?
Try the free MyFitnessPal app. That will calculate the macros in your food for you. 40g per day is a good starting point but the key is to test your bg before and 2 hours after meals to see what you can tolerate. Regards Bluebell
@ExD , I'm another who uses MyFitnessPal. Over time, it builds up a fairly extensive list of your foods you entered along the way. After a very short while, it gets very quick to fill in.
