I don’t think that’s a good idea. Lots of people are dairy intolerant. That might ( most likely ) be causing your symptoms. Dairy makes me weepy. And yes, it will keep your insulin levels high.I have been eating a lot of dairy, my reasoning being it's as pure a fat I can think of. Is this a bad idea? will it raise insulin?
If you like avacodos have at those. As much as you want. Very satisfying, just like cheese. Use mayo or olive oil on your foods and eat some nuts if you tolerate them but IF IT WERE ME I’d ditch all the dairy for a week and see if your symptoms improve.
Butter is dairy but could still be eaten, ghee is better as it’s not dairy. Most people I tolerant to dairy can still have butter but not all.
Coconut oil is pure fat but IN MY OPINION not one of the best. You can get some fat with your protein like bacon ( I pat a lot of the fat off with paper towels ) duck fat is pure fat. So is tallow. I don’t add those fats. Nor do I eat bacon often or chicken skins. I do eat chicken thighs just not the skin. My diet is 80% fat but I just use normal amounts of fat. A spoonful of mayo on tuna, a drizzle of oil on veggies. A little pat of oil or butter on fish. I do eat an avocado a day. Healthies natural fat around.
So IMO ditch all dairy for a week and see what happens! Replace it with nuts and avocado. Dairy is also a well known weight staller as it spikes insulin which is a fat storing hormone. People who want to gain weight will often add dairy and nuts.
