you can buy predone, works out rather expensive from what have seen so far. might be a company which does cheaper with any luck. i tested the recipe above out to see if was ok for xmas ps mine didn't look as nice as the photos did. They were ok thou and tasted decent!

I find that Panda Flour makes very good pastry and the suet one is good for sausage rolls and pies. Generally easy to mix and work with.
Another tip don’t buy sausage meat, buy high meat sausages & split them open into a bowl. I’ll second the Panda pastry. Hard to tell from normal pastry,
