Just been posting on a weight loss forum and was presented with the idea of a keto diet as I have been trying to keep my carbs as low as possible. For the last few days have managed between 80 - 90 a day but really find it difficult to get it any lower.
What do you think?

80-90g of carbs per day ? That's probably "moderate to low" carb and I suspect a little high to be ketogenic.

T2 people have used ketogenic and low carb diets successfully.

What do you find the limiting factor in reducing carbs ?

I've actually been doing the keto diet for a while now and lost quite a bit of weight.

All the information I needed about the diet I found here: http://www.reddit.com/r/keto (the links on the right hand side are a god send)

Not quite sure what you mean by the limiting factors and I am aware that my carb intake at the mo' is higher than required for keto.

Looked at the info Givemy and found it very interesting and helpful.

Thanks to both of you... :D
