Hi. I am thinking of starting a keto diet. Does anyone have any experience on this? Any advice? I am a type 2 on soooo many meds including weekly and daily insulin...... I want to reduce my bg reading so I can reduce my meds........ Any advice will be gratefully received. Thanks

Are all your meds for T2 or are there others?
It certainly should be doable but you will need to monitor blood sugars carefully to avoid hypos.
Is your medical team on board with this?

Being on insulin and other meds means you need to take care if dramatically reducing your carbs. You’ll need to be testing regularly and ideally have the support of your doctor/diabetes nurse.
