Hello ..I did Medi-Test for ketone level in urine , the result was ++ ,, what should I do ?

My BG is normal , yes I have cold and my body temperature is a little bit high .
My heart was beating fast & my urine smell like acetone
 
If you're at all concerned, call your DSN or 111 for reassurance @Dod95

Keep hydrated, keep testing and eat a little if you can.

Thank you,, i went to the endocrinologist and he changed my insulin to Novomix 10U twice daily ( I was taking lantus 8U & Humalog 4 U)
I don't no what the purpose of that

Any idea which dose regimen is better? I think taking short acting before meals better
 
You should ask your endocrinologist why your imsulin was changed. Mixed insulin is ok, but it isn't as flexible as a basal/Bolus regime like Lantus and Humalog.

Why not see how the Novomix goes and go back to your Endo if your not happy. Mixed insulin means you need to,eat at the same times each day and eat the same amount of carbs. Test lots so you can make sure your blood sugar is ok while you're getting used to your new insulin.
