Ketone and BG metres

I have been looking at dual metres I want to be able to test to see if I am in ketosis but does it mean buying two sets of strips it seems so or am I mistaken I would appreciate your input please. Xc

Look for carens sens duo meter - you could just keep for ketone testing if you’ve got another meter with cheaper bg strips as this meter is free and it also comes free with a few blood and ketone strips. As ketone strips are one pound a time you won’t need many I just do it occasionally to test when have changed diet a bit. Very helpful in beginning though to see you are in ketosis.
Bg strips are not too pricey for this machine but a bit more than my code free meter which I use for my bgs.
Best to test in afternoon I’ve found.

You need two kinds of strips. Certainly for the Caresens Dual that I have.

I don't know of any home test which checks both blood glucose and ketones at the same time.
