No, this is not something that all doctors/scientists agree on. That's why I was very careful to state that some people think this, but others do not, in my earlier post. Like noblehead, I would not want to have ketones in my urine for a long time. Its the combination of high Bg levels plus ketones that is dangerous( Ketoacidosis).
