I use ketostix, but only when my sugar is over 13 as recommended by my diabetic nurse. as far as im aware the colour you should aim for is (obviously) the tan one. which is no ketones. and pink to mid pink are colours you shouldnt be showing. i had the darkest ones not long ago and was hospitalized til i had none. this suggests your sugars are high and possibly high for a period of time to show this colour?.. im not aware of anything else you can use with your meter im afraid.. still kinda new to this i guess.. comparing to peeps who have had diabetes for years..
