I don't think the oils turn into trans fats, but they do become oxidized, which is not good for your health.I think given the overheated vegetable oil that has set there for a long time converting into trans fat, if I must have fast food the "insides" of a Big Mac will be a better option.

I agree. Even before I ate low carb I was selective about what I ate.Chicken of dubious origin, covered in over processed batter mix, deep fried in vegetable oil with a slice of cheese 'food' and a highly processed, sugary, flavoured sauce.
It could be zero carb but there's no way I'm putting that **** in my body.
Ok, that makes sense.Oils becoming oxidized is part of the process of making transfats.....
We used to store fresh frozen KFC chicken pieces in our deep freezer where i used to work.Chicken of dubious origin, covered in over processed batter mix, deep fried in vegetable oil with a slice of cheese 'food' and a highly processed, sugary, flavoured sauce.
I was under the impression that KFC was pressure cooked.
We do not have a pressure cooker, as they are the most unsafe kitchen appliance to have in a kitchen.(Don't try this at home, as without the correct setup you can get boiling fat hitting the ceiling and everyone nearby.)
