Kidney aching a bit?

As some of you may know, I had a kidney infection about a month ago. The doctor gave me a two week course of antibiotics, however, he said to stop taking them by day 7 if I felt better. (Which I did)
Recently my right side has been aching ever so slightly... last night I needed to go for a wee really badly but didn't wake up until this morning. Afterward my right side was aching again. (I'm guessing because my bladder was full, but I don't know)
What shall I do? Thanks

I'd say if it's worrying you then ask your GP, if it's nothing then it will be a reassurance if it needs looking at them the sooner the better. Good luck with it all.

Thank you, I'll ring tomorrow. I just always worry about wasting their time haha. But last time I went, the doctor said even if my kidneys are damaged, they shouldn't ache

Main question is if it's normal for it to ache when my bladder is full

Yes, this is possible, but full bladders aren't a good idea for anyone at any time. Once you emptied your bladder, did the ache go? If not, I would contact the doctor again if I were you
