I hope I'm not the only one with this. For the last 6 months I keep getting recurrent UTIs which clear up with antibiotics. I have lots of tests since June. Kidney and liver function all fine, Total cholesterol 3.6 and hba1c 54 which the GP says he is happy with. The only thing when I pressed him was some protein in the urine, which he said wasn't an issue he had any concerns about and said can happen in diabetics. He said there are no red flags but will refer to urology as to be honest, the cycle of UTIs is getting me down. Anyone else had recurrent UTIs. I'm 52, male on Metformin SR.
