Hello! Can somebody please answer this?
I got a urinalysis done recently, and found out that my kidneys are being affected by my diabetes..
Even though my blood sugars are perfect, and my blood pressure has always been low too, why is this happening?
I'm type 2 also..
Been trying to get a straight answer, but it's always about people having high blood sugars, and high BP..
If anyone could give me some kind of help in knowing, or at least understanding why?
Thank you!

Hi there @heaterxo
welcome to the forum :)

it partly depends on what exactly you have been told and what course of action is being taken

I have had some blood test results back in the past that indicated a small amount of protein was getting into my blood from my kidneys -- at the time i was then put on a med to lower my blood pressure.

did your GP advise any action for you to take ??
