I was started on insulin (Humalin I) recently, my daughter is having a few issues with the needles, it sometimes takes a lot to get the click that you get when screwing the needle to the pen, shes managing to eventually get it but with some effort. Will this just become a skill or anyone have a good tip to make this easier?
And the blasted little thin needle cover, not the main one....why do they always hit the floor then stand on them with no shoes, it’s entertaining (I’m a wheelchair user so not a problem for me) but my daughter is cursing the little bleeps! I think of it as revenge for her stabbing me as it’s something I don’t have the dexterity to do!
