Hello all.
I have recently been told by my Doctor that I am prediabetic so I am in the process of cutting down my sugar intake, and trying to follow a low sugar, low carb diet so my question is ....... Is the Lacto Free Milk good to help in this quest?
I ask because although I don't drink milk or eat cereals I do enjoy, for example, a cauliflower cheese, so was wondering if it is a good substitute to use when making a white sauce rather than ordinary semi-skimmed milk.
I look forward to hearing your answers and opinions :)

I use Lactofree full fat.....my cats like it too. Its win win for me.

From memory it has around half the carbs, taste wise it's no different but it is a lot more expensive.

Thanks noblehead. I expected the extra cost, but if I am only going to use it occasionally I think my budget will survive

I'm sure if you just use it for cauliflower cheese then it will go a long way........unless you eat it at every meal :)
