Lancets - Without a device

Hey there….. been reading all about Diabetes since being diagnosed with Type 2. My question is, is there anything I can do to check my blood sugar without having to use a needle?
Hi,

Welcome to the forum.

Unfortunately there are no reliable “non-invasive” devices.
Even a CGM sensor requires a needle on initial application to place the probe into the interstitial fluid layer under the skin..
Having said that.
In my experience once fitted, I hardly know I’m wearing one.. :)

All current watches with light sensors that claim to check BGs & other devices that boast they can read sweat BG content have been proven in many tests by different diabetics not to be worth investment..

Sometimes lancet type or depth setting can alleviate possible pain..
