Just been to collect my prescription from my local Med Centr, and was told there is a shortage of Lantus and Sanofi don't know when they'll be producing more. Has anyone else had this problem?

No, my pharmacy (London) told me they have not heard about any upcoming shortages.

There has been a shortage going back about 3 weeks but local NHS was assured it was back in stock. It is available again locally. Your GP practice can contact the pharmaceutical advisors at local CCG who can chase the supplier for you.

I will also ask again locally as I'm about to get a new script.

I wasn’t told there was a shortage but my pharmacy has been having issues ordering fiasp and sensors through their supplier.

Thank you.

I just picked up 15 cartridges today, doesn't seem to be a problem here.

Going short again locally. Some people are switching from pre filled pens to cartridges. Don't wait until the last minute to put your script in.
