Lantus switchover

Hi all, any advice on doses of tresiba would be great. I am on lantus but changing on Tuesday. I take 27u at the moment but believe the new insulin works for circa 48hrs. Does this require a different type of does or time of day to take it?

The general advice is to take about the same dose as Lantus. I started out with a bit less to see what would happen, but I went back to the same dose in a few days. Take it at the time that suits you best. I found with Tresiba that I didn't have to worry anymore about up to 4 hours difference in timing anymore, very convenient.
