Type 1 laparoscopic surgery recovery type 1

I’ve just had surgery 3 days into recovery and feel very weak and sick, has anyone here gone through recovery from the same operation being Type 1.

Not type 1, but I had laparoscopic surgery done in 2015 to remove gall bladder and stones from bile duct and a liver biopsy was also performed. I didn't experience anything like you have mentioned, so maybe it's how your system is reacting to the drugs used during your procedure or any pain killers, which can make people feel sick.

I had laparoscopic surgery last year ... with type 1 diabetes.
I was incredibly lucky - they let me keep my pump on during the surgery and I healed quicker than predicted (I was told I would feel tired for two months; after one I was back to the gym).
I did not experience the sickness but I understand this is not uncommon after general anaesthetic which takes a few days to wear off for many people.

Look after yourself, rest, don't overdo it and make sure there is someone with you whilst you are feeling unwell.
If the symptoms persist, see a doctor.

I had my Gallbladder out 2 years ago with laparoscopic surgery. Was walking around 30 minutes after waking up, and back at work a week later. Felt a great sense of wellbeing & Euphoria for two days afterwards. But, I had dental surgery a couple of years before that, and felt sick as a dog after waking up, for days afterwards. Different anaesthetics I assume.

I agree with the posts above - you're probably suffering from the anaesthetic. People have massively different reactions to them.
