Largest baby born in Germany, a girl weighing in at 13.47 pounds, and measuring 22.6 inches long. Seems the mum had undiagnosed gestational diabetes, poor woman!
The story is here:

I can't get on to the link, I hate to ask this, but was the birth natural ( OMG) or a Caesarean? I hope it was the latter, poor lady, my older children were 61b 4 and 6lb 1 1/2 and that was painful enough with the 'things' that had to be done, ouch
RRB, (crossing my legs)
Am cringeing reading this - as our daughter was a 6lb 4oz baby and I needed cutting to get her out
as I was too small and would have 'torn' badly otherwise .
I too - am asking the same questions as RRB is :?:
HOW did she give birth to a baby of this weight and size ?
My legs are crossed too - RRB !

Anna I am feeling very strange writing all this, my son was 6lb 4 and like you I had to be cut, but that's was before the forceps were administered, Oh god, it's bringing back memories and also I had to be cut with my second, 6lb 1 1/2 and then sewn up afterwards, with the area injected first............ no I can't go on anymore...........................
from a now traumatised RRB, any men reading this thread, your day will come, ( evil laugh  )
