The Shallows - 7.5/10

I love monster movies, and while not really a monster movie, it is about a big hungry shark terrorising a stranded surfer. The movie starts off really well with lots of suspense, but did get more ridiculous and unbelievable as it went on. I got the impression that the makers perhaps ran out of money and also time as the last 20 mins almost seemed like a different movie. Overall though, I enjoyed it.

Yup DD fab, I had it on the other day with volume a bit loud. Got thanked by my nextdoor neighbour for entertaining her all afternoon. Umm, I will probably get a noise abatement order from the council if I do that again, don't think the singing help either...:wacky:

Nicola, had you tried "Strictly Ballroom" an Australian parody, good fun, sweet story 7.5/10

Sorry, I've only just seen this. Yes I have seen Strictly Ballroom a long time ago, not too bad if my memory serves me correctly. DD 2 Havana Nights is appalling, whoever decided to name it after the first film needs shooting!!!

The capsule.. Great cloaustphobic film with basically one central character..
A thriller more than a "sci fi".. With the astronaut playing as many "mind games" on himself as the Cold War politics..
Pretty much sussed the astronaut's girlfriend out a quarter turn in. Which ruined the plot twist at the end for me!
Based on a true story..

All four Underworld movies (It was a marathon) - 8/10

I enjoyed them, decent effects, good story and well, Kate Beckinsale! :D

Seen this gem the other night too..

Sort of Dickension Mad max meets Withnail & I..

Loved it!
