Hi I have just had my latest results having been on low carb lifestyle since October. Lost 10.2 kg, cholesterol down from 4.1 to 3.3 with HDL 1.5 and mol down from 58 to 45. Had run in with nurse last nov but I think she is coming around to low carb view having seen my results. Been type 2 for 15 years and these are the best results I've had. Will definitely keep up lifestyle.

I would like to point out that low carb-ing may not be the sole cause for your improved health, you can achieve the same results with having carbs in your diet- it's all about moderation. Has your activity level increased and are you making better food choices? Limiting carbs can initially aid in getting your blood sugar levels under control and improve insulin sensitivity.
