Hi all,
Just a quick question...
Fifteen months since my T1 diagnosis my consultant advised my latest HbA1c was 42; previous results were 91, 89, 76 and 48.
I've achieve without much change in my diet, so still eating carbs and taking my insulin four times a day. Current typical dosages through the day are 6, 4, 7 and thirteen units at night. I use a degree of carb counting, but am quite sceptical whether it makes that much difference for me.
So, based upon my latest result should I look to further reduce my BG levels or is this a reasonable longterm level? I suspect I would now need a dietary change to make this happen. My consultant seems happy as things are...
Cheers,
Andy
