hate people who think they know about T1D, but they really don't
I know that chips are kind of a bad food to eat, but they have 16 carbs in them and I am kind of in a bad situation. I don't have any more food to eat other than these chips, Should I eat them or not?

What bad situation are you in, has your pump stopped working or are your ill or are your bg levels running low? Either way you should tell your parents or someone who cares for you.

Hi @jasmine1616
I am womdering if you are posting from the USA
Lays BBQ chips are what we call crisps

crisps here are approx. 56 grams of carb per 100 gram weight.

if you are stuck with not much food in the house they are something you can eat .

Crisps/chips might not be the healthiest option, but an occasional bag is ok. So yes, if you need the carbs/need to eat, just eat them.

I am guessing your 'bad situation' is that you are hypo-ing - then they are absolutely fine to eat if you don't have fast acting carbs, they won't bring you up so quickly if this is the case, so maybe a good reminder to stock up on glucose products.
