Type 2 Lchf and 16/8 IF

Hi. I'm T2D controlled with diet and exercise and no meds. I've bn unable to lose wt previously even tho I'm fit and otherwise healthy. I'm 3 st overweight. Ive bn eating lchf and intermittent fasting (16 hrs fast, eat in 8 hr window) for 5 wks now and really pleased - lost 8lbs so far. It seems so easy and suits me perfectly. Fits in with my shift work. But some days I find I don't eat much at all as I'm just not hungry. I run 3 x wk on empty stomach and feel great. But I don't know if not eating enough is not good. But i don't feel deprived or hungry. Is this ok?? (Sometimes only eat 5-800 cal a day during 1-2 meals).
 
If your feeling great keep it up. Once you get closer to your ideal weight you can increase calories to maintenance levels.
 
Listen to what your body is telling you. If you don't feel hungry and feel great then carry on.
 
Yeh, that sounds gd. I'll kp on with it then, thanx for that. Just gd to know I'm on rite track. Still getting used to this way of eating but wrkg well - can't belv how well! Hvg bn struggling for years to lose. Must hv bn insulin resistant. Hopefully reset things with lchf n IF
