So I've read a lot of information that said any meats, fats etc are healthy for you. LCHF sounds very similar to the Atkin's diet. From what I understand, the guy who created the Atkin's diet died, and he was apparently obese and had cardio related complications. I read that he fell and hit his head and went into a coma for 2 weeks and that's what ultimately killed him, but apparently someone released his medical records.
What do you guys think about this? Do you believe the complications were from his diet? On this high fat diet, should we stay away from trans fats found in meats?
I'm not making any accusations or anything, I'm completely new to all of this, I'm just looking for a little bit of insight from some more experienced individuals.
Thanks!
