Data from the second presentation suggest that despite achieving very low levels of LDL cholesterol, type 2 diabetics may retain considerable residual coronary heart disease risk due to elevated LDL particle levels.
A US study so you will have to convert the units... 8)
 
Only done a quick scan of your post 'cos going out in a minute - but a lot depends on the type of LDL particle, if I remember rightly. Large fluffy particles are okay; small dense ones can get you! It's all on the web somewhere.

My first question was - what are this company selling? I'm a cynic.
