Hey wondering if anyone can give me some advice I currently take 32 units of levemir at 10 o’clock at night and 11units at 12 o’clock in the afternoon but I noticed I still run higher in day at between 9- 17 mmol/L i wake up in the 10s and I may have about two readings that’s in good range if I’m lucky . I tried upping the night dose to 33 but it was making me low during the night so I’m considering cutting my insulin into 3 doses a day instead of two to see if that helps ( dose anyone do more than two doses a day of there levemir or have you been told not to or anything)
I was thinking
22units at 10pm
10units at 7am
10units at 3pm
So I’m not upping my insulin in anyway I’m just spreading it out , should I try it for a few weeks or talk to someone first ? Because I don’t have a check up until January now
