Levemir

I think I read recently that using the arms can be a problem if you are thin as you risk hitting muscle? I've also read on the web that the stomach achieves the quickest insulin response and then thighs and buttocks? If that's true then the stomach should be reserved for bolus?

Makes sense!

I don't use one area for one type. I use all 3 areas and mix it around all the time. Stomach or buttocks are favoured but when I'm at work in a dress I go for thighs

Not a clue. They just said "inject in stomach bottom or thighs, we don't use arm anymore". At the time I thought it was weird because I hadn't said anything about arms!

Thanks for the reply, I personally haven't had any issues with injecting in the back of the arms and not aware that this advice is widespread, the way I see it the more sites available to inject the less likely there is to have injection site problems.

That said Hale best that you follow your DSN's advice if not sure.

Yup like I said, I'm happy with 3 and their happy with 3 so no point in rocking the boat. I'm also not sure how I'd manage it anyway..... I like to see the needle going in haha
