I saw my specialist nurse at the hospital , where she wrote to my Gp saying that my control is much better with the free style libre . I have been funding this my self for six months, my pharmacy also wrote to my Gp saying that the Bury GGCP would fund if it was confirmed by my Nurse at the hospital that this would be benifical . When I saw my Dr he said there was no chance of me getting this as Bury , greater Manchester are not funding this also is a lie , as when I went back to my pharmacy they said they have had someone who is getting this in the Bury area , I’m on the insulin pump and find this free style libre such a big help , and can’t believe how difficult it is to get the truth , I’m so peeved as I don’t know where to go with this now please any advice

Speak to ur consultant at the hospital or dsn have them send your gp a letter saying you have been given access to the libre on prescription and make sure you ask to receive a copy of the letter failing that change gp
