Libre 2 Alarms stopped working.

Hi i have an iphone 12 on ios 15.6.1

I have had a libre 2 for a long time. The alarms have always worked.

I changed my sensor 3 days ago and the alarms are no longer working.

I have read many other threads on here but cant seem to get it to work.

Historically i think i had 2 red dotted liens for my low level and high level alarms on my screen. These are not there anymore.

On my bluetooth list the libre is not listed. I am not sure if it was before but i have tried to turn the phone off and on etc and toggled a lot of things but i am not having any luck.

When i turned bluuetooth off on my phone it historically said something like " your libre alarms wont work with bluetooth off" or something like that. When i toggle it off now i dont get that alert?


Does anyone have this issue and if so is it fixable. I am on day 3 of a new sensor so am hesitant to waste it as i am worried that pif i put a new one on and it still doesnt work its a waste.

Any help would be greatly received.

hi no. I am not seeing this error.
However hopefully this may help people i have just deleted the app from my iphone and reinstalled it. The alarms are now working.

The downside is that my history has now disapeared. I have no data prior to the last 8 hours or so.

But at least its working.

And my current sensor is still fine.


Thanks for your speedy reply. I will be hesitant to upgrade ot the new iphone ios next time.

Hi, pleased its working for you now and that the current sensor is still working as I’m aware that others have found reinstalling the software renders the current sensor useless as the app thinks it’s paired with another device.

On Android device when you have a problem with an app press and hold the volume down and power button to reset the app and restart the device
