Following a hospital trial I did for Abbott in May, I finally have a one off Libre 3 freebie setup and running. As it runs on a separate app, I decided to overlap the previous Libre 2 sensor which has another 24 hours to run.
Positives of the 3 it’s continuous as opposed to having to scan, it is smaller and there is less waste. Negatives no 24 hour TIR to high five or boo over and at the moment not running correct numbers. Though the gap does seem to be closing. My 2 is bang on in line with two blood glucose monitors as it usually is. Hope it settles in next 24 hours. Though I did put it on yesterday to bed in as usual.
