Libre 2 Plus - new sensor readings

I am not one who stresses out about my blood sugar readings - too old and chilled to worry about anything much - but I have do have some thoughts/queries about Libre readings.
Anyone else notice large differences between before/after replacing sensors? On December 15 I replaced the sensor, and my next reading was 4 below the previous one, post-lunch, and it then stayed in range, but about 2-3 units lower than with the old sensor. It took a few days before the readings "normalised". Yesterday I replaced that sensor, and though the initial reading (after the hour set-up time) was pretty much as before, the readings soon started falling, and, apart from one or two slightly above range, I have been in range ever since. Overnight I had two readings of 3.7 and 3.8, which I have never had that low before (only saw them when I got up) - and when I got up, after a night when it never got above 6, it read 8.5, but a fingerprick showed 10.5. Recently I got a reading of 5.2 - about 17.00 - which, again is lower than I have ever shown at that time of day, but by the time I fingerprick tested, 10.7, it was showing 8.5.
I have my next review in a couple of weeks or so - nothing booked with the nurse, but I do have a blood test booked mid-January) - so I will see what she thinks, but I am learning what foods I need to avoid (or "should" avoid!), though I am not meticulous about it. Coffee, with a little milk and pure Stevia, does appear to give me a small spike, but I do miss my morning cereal (given up completely) and pasta/rice/potatoes for lunch (main meal), but am "behaving" most of the time.
Best wishes to everyone for the New Year, and don't give up on enjoying life - it is far too short anyway!

i've found inserting the night before helps to match fingerpricks a little better. compression lows is another thing to be aware of. i find if sitting leaning back or laying in bed, reads a fair bit lower. in general they are pretty decent :) around 1mmol or so out usually for me. another thing to note is they usually run about 10-15 behind fingerprick. ontop of the above mard accuracy, then the accuracy of fingerprick device itself has acceptable errors of margin, so if one reads lower one on the higherside the difference usually falls within. despite quirks invaluable tool imo :)

occassionly wildly different readings, if thats case (when flatish graph) contact abbotts and they will usually send out a replacement. i've had one sensor completely doa after 'warmup'. abotts replaced that without issue :> enjoy a little experimentation. You've already noticed some foods better than others, are you writing down that info somewhere perhaps "works well for you" "acceptable" "not so good" and perhaps an "avoid list" so can refer to it should you feel need to in the future. Within 2mmols after a couple of hours usually means that body is handling that particular amount of that type of food. gl and happy new year when it comes best wishes to 2026.

Update - sensor just showed 3.8, so did a fingerprick (new Contour test kit) which was 11.5. I don't believe either from past experience this time of day, eating habits. Phone App has just come up with "sensor error" (as I was typing), then shows 9.5, but the low readings have gone from the graph - lowest now was 7 about 20 minutes ago. Drives me nuts at time - I love technology, but this is so erratic that I am not sure I trust it! I feel good all the time, so not too bothered - never had a hypo or hyper, as far as I am aware.

Edit: The 9.5 reading has now disappeared (around 40 minutes later), replaced with about 8 - and currently showing 5.8.
