Libre 2

I'm really struggling with the Libre 2 was only given it Tuesday.

Today I used my Agamatrix and it showed 7.2 Libre 6.3

Not eaten or taken insulin

Agamatrix 7.1 and Libre 5.6

I know the Libre works different to Blood testing but is the difference between both normal.

Yesterday Libre showed 9.6 so I based insulin and ended up with hypo didn't check with meter really regret that.

Diabetic team say I should base insulin off Libre 2

I thought the Libre might of been helpful but it's causing me more anxiety already.

The differences you show are well within parameters. I believe it is 2mmol

My diabetic team are trying to say that I shouldn't be testing with my meter.

And to base insulin off Libre which to me is scary especially night time.

If you are doubtful about accuracy it makes sense to use both until you have learned more about your readings.

I'll just keep testing with both, It's hard because I'm so used to going off my meter, perhaps the Libre just isn't suited to me.

I trust my meter for more or less absolute numbers, but my Libre is invaluable for showing trends and to give me a heads up if I'm dropping or rising unexpectedly.

Thanks this is really helpful my diabetic team put me off the Libre because I had a hypo but I should of checked with my meter too like I have today,as it seems the Libre must of been slightly out and sent me into a panic.
